Briarwood Gallery, Tunstead Milton

I have a small gallery here in Tunstead Milton with around 140 framed photographs and 400 unframed photos on display. For location see contact page. Please telephone or email before you visit so that I can confirm that I have prints in stock to meet your requirements.

High Peak Artists' and Craft Workers' Association

The Gallery in the Gardens, Pavilion Gardens, Buxton.

This is a purpose built new exhibition space in the main Pavilion Gardens building for the 36 members of High Peak Artists Association and is provided by High Peak Borough Council. It is adjacent to the new Tourist Information Centre and shop.

It is a replacement for the Pump Room exhibition, which ran for about 12 years in Buxton Crescent.

I have framed and unframed photographs, big and small, as well as posters for sale. The Gallery is open every day of the year except Christmas Day. If you would like to come and meet me or have a chat I include the days when I will be on duty in the Gallery (roughly once a week) in my Events calendar.
My books are on sale in the main Pavilion Gardens shop.

For those of you that knew the Pump Room in Buxton, it is being redeveloped as part of the Crescent Spa Hotel project and will be the first part to be renovated and converted into a tea room.

Focus on Imaging

NEC halls 9 & 10, Birmingham, Sunday 7th to Wednesday 10th March, 10am to 6pm Sun to Tues, 10am to 5pm Wed.

I will be on the Ilford Photo side of the Harman Technology stand (near the entrance to Hall 9) with my new book Lake Light doing a 4 day book signing and there will be an exhibition of fibre based prints from the book. This is the launch of the book. After this show it will be available through this web site, Amazon and all good book sellers.

I am a Designer/Maker with the East Midlands organisation Design Factory.

Peak District Products

I am a member of PDP. This is an association of over 60 professional artists, jewellers, furniture makers, craftspeople and food producers who live and work in the Peak District.

High Peak Artists' and Craft Workers' Association

An association of 36 artists and craft workers, of which I am a member, that is run as a workers co-operative. It organises several exhibitions a year and is based in and around Buxton in Derbyshire. Our permanent exhibition space is the Gallery in the Gardens in Buxton Pavilion Gardens.

In 2008, this was our second time that we had our own stand at Surtex, a show for licensing images for printing onto surfaces and textiles.

A different sort of display to the retail shows that we do in the UK. Lots of our existing licensing products on display as well as others to show the wide range of black and white photographs available.

2006 was the first year that Harman used my images on their stand.

We have done a few big retail shows at the NEC.

BBC Good Homes was combined with BBC Good Food and BBC Gardeners World to make a very large show.

This is our stand. As you can see it is quite cramped but still has a huge range of photographs on sale, as well as books and photography courses.

In 2007 and 2008 we took a retail unit for the weekend and set up a 'Gallery for a Weekend'. Lots of framed and mounted black and white photos as well as books and courses.
