Lone Skier, Otztal Alps (106704)

In the Otztal Alps near Solden. After an ascent of the Hochvernagtspitze (3539m) in bad weather we found some good snow and skied down lower than the hut. This left us with a small climb to reach the hut. I waited until the rest of the group was out of sight to leave the lone skier on the horizon. Ski mountaineering trip. March 1994
