Matterhorn Shadow (274401)

Shadow of the Matterhorn on the clouds above the mountain. Called a Brocken Spectre and only seen when the sun is low in the sky, such as here at about 4pm in mid-January. Taken from near Hornli, above Zermatt, Switzerland. January 2006.
