Snowboarder, Peak District
Taken: England, Peak District
Taken near the top of Ladder Hill above the village of Combs in the Peak District (the iron age hill fort of Castle Naze is top right). The lone snowboarder was practising in recent snow. The snowboarder is quite small in the frame since this is such an unusual sight I wanted to show the surroundings; a close-up of the snowboarder could have been taken at any ski resort.
