  • Focus on Imaging - The biggest annual photography and imaging show in Europe. I either have my own stand or can be found on the Ilford part of the Harman Technology stand.

  • Great Dome Art Fair - A top quality show in late July in the Buxton Dome for members of Peak District Products

  • Gallery in the Gardens - Home of the High Peak Artists and Craftworkers Association in The Pavilion Gardens in Buxton - A permanent display of Dave Butcher photographs, posters and books. You can also meet me roughly 3 or 4 days a month here (see events calendar for dates)

  • Trekking in the Alps - Hilary Sharp, Alpine leader based in Vallorcine in the Chamonix valley; snowshoe and trekking trips in the Alps. Using a guide like Hilary (married to Jon de Montjoye) lets me spend time taking photographs instead of worrying about route finding, booking huts, local transport, etc.

  • Jon de Montjoye - Alpine mountain guide based in Vallorcine in the Chamonix valley. Jon was my guide for most of my ski mountaineering trips and is very tolerant of photographers and their needs!

  • Forest Lodge b&b - Bed & breakfast in Chapel-en-le-Frith

  • High Croft Guest House - A top quality guest House with fantastic views between Chapel-en-le-Frith and Whaley Bridge, just 100 yards from the Hanging Gate pub restaurant

  • Kinrara b&b - Bed & breakfast in Whaley Bridge

  • Moorside Grange Hotel - a Best Western hotel about 4 miles away between Disley and Whaley Bridge

  • Roebuck - A pub that does b&b on the market place in Chapel-en-le-Frith
