  • Craft Experience - A large art and designer craft show in mid-May near Henley-on-Thames

  • Craft in Focus - Art and designer craft shows in the south east of England

  • Design Factory - I am a Designer/Maker with this organisation for the creative industry in the East Midlands

  • Focus on Imaging - The biggest annual photography and imaging show in Europe. I either have my own stand or can be found on the Ilford part of the Harman Technology stand.

  • Great Dome Art Fair - A top quality show in late July in the Buxton Dome for members of Peak District Products

  • Gallery in the Gardens - Home of the High Peak Artists and Craftworkers Association in The Pavilion Gardens in Buxton - A permanent display of Dave Butcher photographs, posters and books. You can also meet me roughly 3 or 4 days a month here (see events calendar for dates). Open every day except Christmas Day, free entry.

Course Accommodation, Travel, Holidays

  • Trekking in the Alps - Hilary Sharp, Alpine leader based in Vallorcine in the Chamonix valley; snowshoe and trekking trips in the Alps. Using a guide like Hilary (married to Jon de Montjoye) lets me spend time taking photographs instead of worrying about route finding, booking huts, local transport, etc. Highly recommended.

  • Jon de Montjoye - One of the best alpine mountain guides, based in Vallorcine in the Chamonix valley. Jon was my guide for most of my ski mountaineering trips and is very tolerant of photographers and their needs! Highly recommended.

Peak District Accommodation near Tunstead Milton

  • Corbar Bank b&b - 4 star bed and breakfast apartment, about 6 miles away on the edge of Buxton

  • Forest Lodge b&b - Bed & breakfast in Chapel-en-le-Frith

  • Harrop Fold Farm b&b - Bed and breakfast 5 miles away on the road from Whaley Bridge to Macclesfield.

  • High Croft Guest House - A top quality guest House with fantastic views between Chapel-en-le-Frith and Whaley Bridge, just 100 yards from the Hanging Gate pub restaurant

  • Kinrara b&b - Bed & breakfast in Whaley Bridge

  • Moorside Grange Hotel - a Best Western hotel about 4 miles away between Disley and Whaley Bridge

  • Old Hall Inn - An excellent village inn in the village of Whitehough about 3 miles away (or 2 miles walking over Eccles Pike!)
