Our Tunstead Milton Gallery
The Dave Butcher gallery has recently been refitted and extended to better show off our range of fine art hand-printed silver gelatine photographs.
More floor and wall space plus upgraded lighting allow you to see the work in its full glory, and in a range of mounts and frames. As well as the main gallery pictured above there are also two additional display areas. We are now able to exhibit over 140 framed photographs and 500 mounted original prints.
You can also buy the Lake Light, Peak Light and High Light books, posters of Dave's most popular images, or meet Dave and Jan to discuss our range of landscape photography courses and darkroom workshops.
As the darkrooms are also located here, you might also see some original work in progress.

Arriving by Train
The closest station to Briarwood is Whaley Bridge. This is in the centre of the village and within easy reach of several B&Bs and guest houses. It is on the Manchester Piccadilly to Buxton line and the journey time is about 40 minutes. It is not possible, at the time of writing, to arrive by train on a Sunday morning, the first train arrives too late for my courses. We can collect you from the station or your local accommodation.
