City Light is now available (March 2013). This is a collection of cityscapes taken on trips made over the last twenty years. Stunning night shots are mixed with architectural beauty and urban landscapes. With over 120 images, City Light covers 31 cities…and Buxton!

Dave says “My previous three books have been all landscapes so this book, of city photographs, is a departure for me. The introduction page is my only chance to include a landscape in the book as one of San Francisco’s best known landmarks, Golden Gate Bridge, is just outside the city. I have always taken city and landscape photographs as the opportunities arose but mostly I was known for my landscapes.

“The selection may appear a bit quirky and some cities have just one image while others have several. This choice balances a spacious layout with the range of different places.”

The book also has a section designed to inspire night and city photographers, sharing some of Dave’s secrets on the technical and logistical issues encountered when working in the middle of a city.
