It was snowing when we woke up and it didn’t stop all day. Lots of fresh powder snow on the mountains. There was also a strong wind of up to gale force higher up which closed the top lifts all day.
Lots of deep snow on a firm base made for some great skiing. Not many people stayed skiing after the wild weather mid-morning. We switched across from the Panorama area to the Sonnkogelbahn lift which we shared with just a handful of other skiers. More sheltered skiing too. Overall we had a great day.
I didn’t carry my Mamiya 7 camera today but hope to tomorrow as it’s a better forecast. All photos in this post were from my mobile phone.
